HowMany.org Celebrates Earth Day in Berkeley and SF

Come celebrate the 32nd Earth Day with HowMany.org in Berkeley and San Francisco -- appreciate our Earth and demand its protection!

Earth Day celebrations have grown tremendously since the first one in 1970, but the human population has doubled. In 1970, it was widely understood that we could not have an environmentally sustainable future if we did not limit our regional and global populations. But now, too few opinion leaders even mention population size.

Sen. Nelson of Wisconsin, Earth Day founder said: "The bigger the population gets, the more serious the problems become…. We have to address the population issue."
