Friday Life Drawing in Kroeber Hall

 ,   Add to calendar
 Berkeley  See map

This life-drawing group is open to the public and has run for more than 20 years. Poses start at five minutes and work up to 20 minutes.

Group meets through the year, except for the last two weeks of the year, when the campus is shut down for curtailment, and except on weekends where a holiday observance falls on a Friday or Monday.

It also meets Saturday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

I see that this was posted in 2011 and I can't seem to bring up any other posts on it that are more recent. Does this group still meet? And if so, which room? (I've taken the figure classes through the UC Art Studio but I am unsure whether this is in the same location...) Thank you!

Hi Adora, I don't know if the sessions still happen; I moved! Best to phone the Art Dept. in Kroeber and ask. They don't sponsor the sessions but they'll know who does. If no luck, why not check out the Bay Area Models Guild drawing marathons at Merritt College in Oakland? They happen four or five times a year. http://www.bayareamodelsguild.org/

Thank so much for your response Barbara! I was able to contact the Art Studio and they confirmed the class still meets. [As an FYI to anyone else browsing this post, the Art Dept's response was: "The Friday evening class is from 6-9pm and the Saturday morning class is from 11am-1pm. Both classes are located in 365 Kroeber" So, the same as ever! :) ]
