Film: 'Tahrir Square: The Eye of the Storm'

Sharat Lin, president of the San Jose Peace Center and writer on global economic, political, and environmental affairs, spent more than a week in Tahrir Square during the height of the uprising in Egypt.

Though the Square was ground zero for the revolution, it has been a sanctuary for nonviolence, tolerance, and cooperation. Lin analyzes the roots of the uprising, how it unfolded, its future prospects, and its impact on the region.
