Berkeley World Music Festival

Bay Area's finest world music artists offer a dazzling mix of  free café and sidewalk performances, plus an afternoon concert in People's Park with Fito Reinoso (Cuban gooves), Riffat Sultana (Sufi), and Druid Sister's Tree Party!

Authentic regional dance music is the order of the day with Forró Brazuca's Brazilian accordion music, Helladelics (Greek roots), Mamadou & Vanessa (Mali Blues).

With The Beth Custer Ensemble (Jazz + Funk), Eliyahu & The Qadim Ensemble (Mystic Music of the Near East) Rafael Manriquez (Latin American Songs), Zimbabwean  melodies, gamelan, belly dance, and a multi-cultural crafts village, there's something for everyone.

On the day of the festival, visitors are encouraged to pick up a schedule and map at the information booth located at Telegraph Ave and Haste. Event details are at www.berkeleyworldmusic.org
