Berkeley Pride 2011, "Making it Better"

FREE FOOD, MUSIC, FILM, AND DANCE!

The Berkeley Pride celebration is a positive, community-building event that not only recognizes and celebrates the LGBTIQ community, but also celebrates the rich diversity of our community. This year's theme, "Making It Better!" echoes the international anti-bully campaign.

ENTERTAINMENT:

**Average Dyke Band
**Momma's Boyz
**Ball and Chain Theater Group
**Know Jazz Band
** D.J. and dancing (8:30-10 p.m.)

SNEAK PREVIEW:

The Pacific Center's LOUD (Loving Ourselves Uniting Diversity) Youth Group will be previewing an oral history video project. The heartwarming selection of short films document the personal histories of local LGBT community members.

COSTUME CONTEST:

With Halloween just a day away and the fun shut down in the Castro, we will be hosting a costume contest with prizes. Show up in a creative costume for a chance to win!
