What Are Berkeley's Best Bike-Friendly Stores?

With a whole subculture of bicyclists, it's no wonder that Berkeley business owners sometimes allow cyclists to park their bikes inside the doors of their stores and restaurants.

Not only does it generate goodwill and provide convenience for customers on two-wheels, but it also helps stave off .

The BART Bike Station on Shattuck Avenue by the Downtown Berkeley BART allows cyclists to park and store their bikes for a cost of 3 cents per hour from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, and 1 cent per hour all other times.
