Novartis Emeryville Employees Volunteer During Community Partnership Day

Employees chose from a wide range of organizations and activities throughout the Bay Area during its Community Partnership Day on April 25.

On Thursday April 25, more than 550 Novartis employees from Emeryville participated in the 7th annual Community Partnership Day — a community volunteer effort serving local area charities.

As part of this global, corporate-wide effort to give back to the communities in which they live and work, employees from Novartis’ Emeryville site donated their time at more than 20 San Francisco Bay Area charities.

Employees chose from a wide range of organizations and activities, including updating the bison habitat at the Oakland Zoo, sorting food for the Alameda County Food Bank and gardening projects at Anna Yates Elementary School and Coyote Hills Park to name a few.

All told, Novartis employees around the world donated more than 130,000 man hours in 56 countries.
