Guess Where You Can Get this Tasty Plate of BBQ

Talk to someone from the country's barbecue belt, and you'll discover pretty quickly that what we call barbecue here in the Bay Area apparently doesn't measure up to what the grill delivers in Dallas, Kansas City, or Memphis. 

To hear these partisans tell it, it's impossible to find real smoked brisket or pulled pork out here, even in venerable establishments like . Fortunately, the trash talk hasn't dampened a barbecue boom in the East Bay. More than one restaurateur has recently started serving up barbecue Berkeley-style.
