DO YOU ARGUE WITH YOUR TEEN? Participate in a study at UC Berkeley on parent-adolescent interaction!
My name is Alexandra Main, a Graduate Student in the Culture and Family Laboratory at UC Berkeley. This study explores how mothers and teens resolve conflict. Participation in this study gives you the opportunity to sit down, not in the heat of the moment, and discuss issues in your relationship with your teen. Your participation will allow researchers to help parents and teens who have conflict develop more healthy relationships with one another.
You and your teen will each receive $20 to thank you both for your participation.
We are looking for adolescents aged 17-18 years and their mothers to participate in this study. Participants will be asked to come into the lab on the UC Berkeley campus for 1 hour and participate in a 20-minute interaction and complete some questionnaires.
For more information, contact Alexandra Main at parentadolescentproject@gmail.com or 508-596-1106.
Sincerely,
Alexandra Main, Ph.D. Candidate
