Power to the Paws! A Benefit Hosted by Friends of Berkeley Animal Care Services

Friends of Berkeley Animal Care Services hosts its first ever gala fundraising event on Thursday, October 18th from 7pm to 10pm at the beautiful David Brower Center in Berkeley, California. Hosted by author, monologuist, and Berkeley resident Josh Kornbluth, the evening will feature delicious food, live entertainment, a silent and live auction with fabulous offerings from local artists and business, tarot readings, and much more! Proceeds from the benefit will help equip the new medical clinic of Berkeley Animal Care Services’ new Dona Spring Animal Shelter.

The nonprofit Friends of Berkeley Animal Care Services (Friends of BACS) was formed by volunteers in 2011 to serve an immediate and critical need: raising the funds necessary to equip the Berkeley animal shelter’s new facility with medical equipment and furnishings.

Money raised at the event will help us outfit the new, on-site clinic for treating shelter animals. Join us to have a HOWLING good time!
