Little League Playoffs

This weekend is a good time to catch some baseball—in Albany!  The Albany Little League playoffs have begun, and there’s plenty of action at the University Village (10th and Monroe) on Saturday (10:00 a.m. till about 5:00 p.m.) and Sunday (12:30 p.m. to dusk).  Admission is free, and there’s great food at the Snack Shack for hungry baseball fans.  Meanwhile the big boys (“Juniors”—13-14 year olds) are playing at Albany High’s Memorial field on Sunday (noon to dusk).  Come out and cheer on the stars of Berkeley and Albany!
