Berkeley Emcee KenSon Releases New EP With Long Island Beat Maker

Two young musicians on opposite sides of the country bring quality to the forefront.

BERKELEY, CA (October 2, 2013) - Emcee KenSon of Berkeley, CA is proud to announce the release of his new EP along with Backspacez from Long Island, NY. Their EP, entitled, Law of Demand, features beats by Backspacez, lyrics by KenSon, and mixing/mastering by Tai the 13th out of Sacramento, CA. Law of Demand drops October 3rd via Backspacez and KenSon’s Bandcamp accounts. The two young musicians are touting Law of Demand as a quality piece of art.

Law of Demand has received a considerable amount of blog attention, namely due to the first single “Give Me Now” (which was featured on the home page of Rap Genius.) KenSon recently did an interview with The Daily Californian that appears in post October 3rd, coordinated with the Law of Demand release.

History
Backspacez and KenSon linked up on Rap Genius while working on separate projects. KenSon contributed some verses to Backspacez’ album and Backspacez, impressed with KenSon’s lyrics, suggested they collaborate on a project. KenSon and Backspacez gel musically as they are both fans of the old-school hip-hop sound, but they each bring their own unique twist and influences to the table.
