REGISTRATION FOR ALBANY LITTLE LEAGUE CHALLENGERS DIVISION

ALBANY LITTLE LEAGUE CHALLENGERS DIVISION
February, 2014

Registration is now open for the Albany Little League (ALL) Challenger program for the 2014 spring baseball season.

The Challenger Division of Little League is a program for youth with mental and physical disabilities to experience the joy of playing baseball in a supportive environment attuned to their abilities.

Playing on ALL fields, Challenger Division players come together as a team, enjoy the cheers of the crowd, and just plain have fun!

There is no cost to the players. Parents and guardians are asked to participate as “Buddies” whenever possible. There is no waiting list, and all players will be given a jersey and a team hat!

The first game of the season is Sunday, March 16, 2014. All games will be held on Sundays at 2:00 at home and on fields throughout the District that includes Alameda, Albany, Antioch, Berkeley, Clayton Valley, Concord American, Continental, East County, Lafayette, Martinez, North Oakland, Pinole/Hercules, Pittsburg (National), Richmond, South Oakland, and Walnut Creek!

Those who join the ALL team will also get to participate in the 2014 District Little League Jamboree scheduled for April 27, 2014 at Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek
