Panthers & Cougars Meet Tonight

The Saint Mary’s Panthers will travel across town to meet the Albany High Cougars at Cougar Field tonight.  Varsity plays at 6:30 p.m.  Put on your red and white (both schools’ colors) and come out to the game, or catch it live online starting at 6:00 p.m. at http://www.nfhsnetwork.com/channels/saint-marys-college-berkeley-california

Saint Mary’s will be helping out Saturday with Shoreline Cleanup Day.  Faculty and students from the school’s Environmental Science class will work again this year with the City of Berkeley to collect data (and refuse) from Codornices Creek near the Albany Target store to help Berkeley’s ongoing monitoring for their creek pollution prevention program.

Admissions Information Night for Saint Mary’s 2014-2015 school year will be held Monday, September 23 from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m. in the campus auditorium.  Designed for seventh and eighth grade students and parents, but all are welcome.  Details at www.saintmaryschs.org, Admissions link, or contact Linda Laufenberg Yaris at (510) 559-6240 or lyaris@stmchs.org. 
Mark your calendars now for Open House on Sunday, November 24 from one to three o’clock.

The Panthers will meet De Anza High at Saint Mary’s Homecoming Game on Saturday, September 28.  “Spirit Week,” with lots of student activities, begins September 23.  The renowned Barbecue Club is selling their famous “Better Burgers” today during lunch for an end of Summer treat.
