College Days at Saint Mary's High

At Saint Mary’s in Berkeley, as at any high school, the opening of the new school year brings much college counseling activity for junior and senior students and their parents.  Students meet individually with the College Counselor, Ms. Sonia Ryan, and grade level group counseling blocks highlight the college search and application process, SAT and ACT prep, college fair opportunities, and more.  A busy calendar of college-related events and activities keeps students and parents busy during the year.  Senior College Information Night will take place on campus on September 25.  More than 45 college and university reps will visit the Saint Mary's campus during the Fall; four are on campus today to speak with interested seniors.

The school’s annual and popular Club Fair will take place during the lunch period this Friday.  More than thirty campus clubs, moderated by faculty members, will be recruiting members – everything from baking and gardening to community service and auto maintenance and local creek cleanup.  The fair will follow the annual opening Mass of the school year on Friday morning.
