Only in Berkeley: Halal Burritos

It's not unusual for motorists to slow down for a double take when they see the sign at University and McGee avenues advertising "halal burritos."

It may be a Yeminite grocery and deli, but the halal burrito is "not a Middle Eastern wrap," one Yelper reports. "It is a regular burrito, just with rotisserie chicken and white rice ... not Spanish rice, but Middle Eastern rice."
