Gunfire Reported in South Berkeley

No victims or damage were found, according to police.

Berkeley police responded to a South Berkeley intersection where gunfire was reported this afternoon, a Berkeley police spokeswoman said.

Around 3:40 p.m., multiple residents called 911 to report hearing gunshots in the area of California and Harmon streets, Berkeley police Officer Jennifer Coats said.

No victims were found, and no damage was reported. A group of people was seen running from the area, Coats said.
