Elder Voices Debuts at North Berkeley Senior Center Wednesday

The launches its Elder Voices series Wednesday afternoon with Bob Randolph, a local poet and retired economics professor.

After Randolph reads, the mic will be opened to anyone who wants to share a poem, a story, a dance, a joke, a memory, a vision. “The idea is to have a space for older adults to express themselves in their community in an arts and culture format,” said Rhianna Babka, a senior services assistant at the center. 

The center is normally reserved for people 55 and older, but folks of all ages are invited to attend Elder Voices. The event will take place the second Wednesday of every month from 1:15 p.m. - 4 p.m.
