Berkeley Police and Fire Team Up for Toy Drive

Families in need can register to be toy-drive recipients through Dec. 15. New and unwrapped toy donations are being accepted now.

Berkeley families in need of a holiday boost can enroll to receive children’s presents through the Toys for Tots program.

Berkeley police and fire departments will team up with the United States Marine Corp Foundation to run the charitable program in Berkeley this year.

“The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens,” reads part of the Toys for Tots mission statement.
